Chinese automobile giant scheduled to start operations in Pakistan from next month
One of China’s leading automakers Changan is set to start its operations in Pakistan, in collaboration with Master Motors Corporation Limited (MMCL), with the Chinese firm investing $100 million in the joint venture. Masters group CEO Danial Malik, at the inauguration of his company’s showroom in Karachi, said that Master Motors assembly line at Port Qasim will start manufacturing Changan vehicles from the coming month. Master Motors has been assembling Japanese cars and plans to introduce in European technology in Pakistan’s automobile industry.
